We are very pleased to announce that we will be holding “The Chatham Grammar Experience” again this year. There will be 7 free workshops designed specifically for Year 5 students to help them get to know Chatham Grammar, meet the teachers and make new friends.

Tuesday 19th May 4-5pm
Geography - Students will take part in an immersive and challenging carousel workshop exploring some of the most fascinating and relevant topics in Geography.
Or
Drama - Students will analyse a suspenseful ghost story before applying these techniques to devise and perform an original piece of dramatic storytelling.
Thursday 4th June 4-5pm
Maths - Students will be challenged through an Under the Sea Escape Room, where they will apply mathematical reasoning and logical thinking to solve complex puzzles.
Or
Textiles - Students will explore the rich symbolism of Sugar Skull imagery from Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival.
Tuesday 30th June 4-5pm
English - Students will become literary investigators as they work in teams to solve a mysterious fictional crime.
Or
Sport - Students will experience a high-energy and tactical sports workshop combining elements of Swedish longball, dodgeball, and handball.
Or
Science - Students will explore the microscopic world using scientific equipment to study the structure and function of plant and animal cells.

Free 11+ Familiarisation materials
Chatham Grammar is proud to be open to pupils from all backgrounds.
To encourage even greater representation of children at Chatham Grammar, we work in partnership with Atom Learning, the leading online Key Stage 2 learning and 11+ preparation platform, to provide students who are eligible for Pupil Premium with free online learning and 11+ exam preparation.
This programme is designed to help children get familiar with the type of questions they may see on the 11+, and build exam technique and confidence. They'll be able to access KS2 and 11+ practice questions, learning resources, and practice papers through their Atom Home account.
If your child has been eligible for free school meals at any point in the last six years, please fill in the form by clicking the button below. They will be given free access to Atom Home when their Pupil Premium status has been verified by their primary school.
Access free 11+ and learning support
For non-pupil premium families, there is a five-day free trial available via the Atom website.

Medway Test Results: Wednesday 14th October 2026
National Offer Day: Monday 1st March 2027
